Schwartz-Reisman Innovation Campus (Phase 1)

Situated in a premier location in the heart of Toronto’s Discovery District, the Schwartz-Reisman Innovation Campus will turbocharge the next wave of Canadian innovation, advancing how AI, biomedicine, and other disruptive technologies can enrich lives. It will be the country’s largest concentration of student and faculty-led start-ups, firmly positioning Toronto as the place for creating new technology companies, jobs, and solutions. 650,000 SF of AI and life sciences space will be developed in two phases, made possible by the generous $100M donation from Gerald Schwartz & Heather Reisman.  

Phase 1 consists of 250,000 SF AI-focused tower that will include the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society, the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, much needed incubator and start-up space led by the University’s Entrepreneurship office, and Innovations and Partnerships office, and ancillary office and collaboration space. There will also be auditorium/event space and restaurant/café space on the first floor.
