Real Estate Legal Advisory
We strengthen our real estate strategies by adapting for the best-case scenario in the decision-making process and carefully reviewing. We possess extensive, specialized experience and deep market intelligence that informs our team, directing our efforts while we perform due-diligence around project choices.


Property Accounting
Our team manages all real estate investments, navigates tax laws, and calculates the most efficient returns on investment. Our property investment team is responsible for accounting, bookkeeping and financial guidance. We have an open-book policy with our partners, maintaining the highest levels of both transparency and discretion.
Asset Management & University Acquistions
Over the last several years, with a lens towards efficient use of the University’s real estate assets, the University has identified some of the more obvious potential building sites and has developed plans for some of these properties. These plans focus heavily on supporting ancillary operations. This team recognizes the opportunity for materializing potential new sources of revenue for the University from optimizing the development of readily available University-owned properties, and manages the acquisition of new properties along the campus’ edges.


Development Advisory
U of T’s Development Advisory Services team provides guidance and innovative solutions for all stages of real estate development through a University lens. Acting as a vital link between the broader institution and our development partners, we ensure that we meet the objectives of both U of T stakeholders and our partners.
We assist in navigating complex market dynamics, optimizing project feasibility, and maximizing double-bottom-line value. Our collaborative approach ensures that we address the unique needs of each project, from initial planning and site selection to project delivery and asset management. Our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and adherence to our double-bottom-line objectives drives our mission to shape vibrant communities and enhance urban landscapes.
Commercial Property Management
Our seasoned property managers are assigned to specific U of T buildings to execute daily operations, manage critical events and emergencies, and help with project management on construction and renovations. Maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere with frequent building communication is equally important. We’re proud to say our commercial partners know our property management team by name.


Commercial Partnerships
We develop and manage long-term, high-impact collaborative relationships that benefit our partners, the University, students, faculty, staff and the commercial partners in our buildings. This activity aligns with U of T’s “double-bottom-line” 4Corners Strategy.
Our leasing team is responsible for identifying new commercial partnership opportunities for new mixed-use 4Corners development opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, partnerships with entities working in Life Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, next generation technology, with scaling student and affiliate start-ups, and innovative food and beverage companies.
